Just wanted to say thanks to Gillian for a great utlimate tournament on Saturday the 22nd at Eastdale. She did a fantastic job organizing the event and raising all that money for charity. Congratulations to the Duc Hunters (in French, Les Chasseurs des Canards) on their victory.
They were so hospitable to the volunteer group from Quebec. One young girl, who was voted MVP by the team, said that she had never won
anything in sports before! She is determined, as are several of the others, to take the game back to Quebec to teach the game to her friends.
I think all the boys and two of the girls on the French Fries team were voted MVPs. I was proud of their efforts and really impressed by the comraderie and spirit of the game. Thanks a million.
