Hi,
New point of discussion to add to the captain's meeting agenda.
Can we get rid of the byes for those Holidays?
I believe the league has expanded a lot in the last couple years to allow teams not to default. Everyone I talk to would love to play those weeks.

I get your point for this year and Christmas time (although I'm sure a lot of ppl would not mind a game on Jan 1st) but I'm sure you get mine about the other Holidays. Do we need to take a 3-week break in December when all the other leagues are still happening?

It could be worth looking into running two-hours of drop-in ultimate on the Sundays that there are no scheduled games (assuming the dome is open).
I also agree more league games would be better, and I think most teams could field a squad for 1 of the 3 Christmas Sundays, and Smarch break.
But it's also possible that me and LP are just talking to all of the same people, and none of those people travel in March because there's no tournaments to attend. |
