The 2016 Tangle on the Turf was a huge success..as usual  Fourteen high school teams competed over two days for bragging rights and the much coveted Tangle t-shirt.
Special thanks to all the student athletes from across the region who came to compete. And an even bigger thank you to the many dedicated coaches that volunteer their precious time to pass on their love of Ultimate to the next generation.
Congrats to All Saints,who took the Thursday title in a final against MCVI. The Spirit Champs for the day were from Port Perry.
Fridays competition was fierce, with a superior Bowmanville squad dominating and taking the title...a three-peat by my calculations. A very good showing by MCVI to make it to the finals on both days. The Spirit Champs on the day were from Adam Scott in Peterborough.
The future looks bright for Ultimate in Durham.
