I would like to recommend that the 7 p.m. League format is a 4-6-6 set up. Although there are a few new teams, my understanding is that it was mostly a rec league with a few outside comp teams left with out a league. Would it not make sense to then let the top competitive teams beat each other up with a random change up as previously stated (bottom team moving down, top team moving up)- leaving the teams that signed up for rec, playing rec teams (that being from rec level A to rec level Z). I would like to hear from some 7pm players - especially those not drinking the 'punch' that DUC so often serves up. The typical voices (loudest) are the ones who live and breath Ultimate and too often it feels like others let them have their way because it's easier or my favourite DUC term 'un-spirited to actually disagree. Chime in with thoughts please - even you bartenders. |

Gotta agree with Debbie Downer above, 4-6-6 seems logical, since Fuzzy Kittens won it all last year they should probably be the 4th team up to start. Then do a "ladder" from that point forward. |

Maybe strategist Sally or push the agenda Pam... |

Out of curiosity, who do you see as the 4 competitive teams? |

There are no competitive teams anymore. All teams signed up for the recreational division. By name, Breaking Bad and Sports are the only two teams left over from the competitive division. There are, however, some other teams that have lots of players who played in the 7 pm competitive division or 5 pm competitive division but have lost many players due to scurvy. Lets stop labeling teams and all just have some fun!! |
