Two of our local touring teams are heading to the Canadian Ultimate Championships this week in Brampton! Foxx, our Durham Women's touring team will be attending. Foxx was successful at Regionals this year coming out the third seeded team in Ontario. A respectable feat after only its second season running the team. Foxx is seeded 6th overall. Their play begins on Thursday morning this week. For updates over the weekend you can follow them on twitter @Foxxultimate
Houndd is our open division team that will also be representing in Brampton. Houndd is in its first year of existence and is proving to be a strong force. They also had a strong performance at Regionals this year. They are seeded 9th overall and are expecting to do well. Their play begins on Thursday morning as well.
Durham also has some junior teams attending the Canadian Junior Ultimate Nationals this week, Nightfury and Stud and we also have local players playing on Toro. Congrats to all of our Junior players!
