Hey all,

Foxx Ultimate, a women's team out of the region, competed at the Canadian Ultimate Championships last month. We had an awesome time, but, surprisingly (at least to us) we had some poor spirit scores... but also some great ones.

I've been doing some research on Spirit of the Game to understand where we went wrong in the hopes of improving in the future, not just for Foxx but also in DUC as a whole.

I have attached a learning tool from the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) and encourage everyone to learn more about what it means to have great Spirit whether you are new to the sport or need a refresher (see attachment or http://www.wfdf.org/sotg/spirit-education-a-improvement).

There is also another resource called "Ten things players should know about Spirit" on the USAU website:
https://www.usaultimate.org/about/ultimate/spirit_of_the_game.aspx

Spirit defines this awesome sport that we play!

Peace,
Kelly
