Hi everyone!
I must now make a difficult decision. I must chose between rep soccer and ultimate frisbee. I am very willing to play ultimate but i need to know for sure if I am allowed to play (under 16). It does not matter what devision i play in. I dont want to quite soccer and not be able to play ultimate. Supposebly this was discused at the captains meeting. Could someone please confirm this so that i dont make a mistake i might regret.

Hi Patrick,
I am not sure about the age limit for playing Ultimate for the DUC. But what we can assure is that the DUC is a spirit league and is for fun. If you were to join a team, you should just let them know that you have rep. soccer that you may not make all the games. The captain most likely won't mind at all. People have other commitments that come up as well. You will not be kicked off a DUC team for not showing up to a game. Just be able to contact your captain to say if you are able or not able to attend each game.
The scrimmages that you have been attending are strictly for fun as well, and anyone can show up. There could be 30 people showing up or 8 people (like last night)
Games right now, are just on Sunday afternoon/evenings. If by chance there is a second night of league, you will still only be playing one night.
If you are able to do both soccer and ultimate, than that would be amazing, but if you were to get too busy with the soccer, you could always just show up for fun in scrimmage at the very least. The more the merrier!

| The league has a minimum age requirement of 16. One of my daughters wants to play but will have to wait. I hope this helps you with your decision. Congradulations on be invited to play Rep Soccer. |

Hey Patrick!
I talked to you today about this, but i will post this so everyone else knows this aswell.
The age limit was set as a RECCOMENDED 16+. This is an adult rec league, and some of the attitudes of the younger players and older players might clash, size difference(patrick is lower then my chest) ect.
HOWEVER!!!!!!
With parental concent, younger players MAY play in the DUC as long as the parents know its an adult league and sign a waiver allowing their son/daughter to play in the DUC.
