I must commend you on the excellent website. I was sitting at the computer tonight and decided to check up on my former Frisbee league, DUC. I was pleasantly surprised with what I found.
Also, I wanted to give a heads up to all of you about the Stall Fall Tournament in Guelph in September. I played last year and enjoyed myself quite thoroughly, and believe it's time DUC submitted a team. If you're interested in details check in out at www.perpetualmotion.org
I'm playing in two Ultimate leagues in Guelph this year and getting treated quite well. I'll also have you know at pick-up tonight I made a phenomenal diving catch and kept my collarbones intact.

Hey Ashley, thanks for the information about the september tournament. Band on the Run is definitely considering entering a team. I assume you would play with us if we entered? Glad to hear that you are learning to dive more gracefully.
If any of the DUC teams are thinking of entering this tournament (or any tournament) I highly recommend it. Playing multiple games in a day allows players to learn much more quickly. Just make sure you have lots of players. Feel free to recruit players through the forum. Talk to me if you want some sponsorship. |
